Biblical worship is simple and reverent. We maintain the Reformation practice of ‘regulated worship’ according to God’s Word. This gives our worship a simplicity that is not found in many evangelical churches today.
Unashamedly Reformed in our thinking and practice, we believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the only rule for faith and life. This idea came to be known as sola Scriptura, meaning that Scripture alone is the guide in our religious beliefs.
We are also committed to one another and to serving one another with our talents, gifts, and resources. We believe that the New Testament Church had the feel of a family, and we seek to reflect that in the way that we treat one another and love another. Jesus said that people will know that we are his disciples by our love for the Church!
We also believe that Jesus is calling us to spread the Good News of His sacrificial redemption to those who are in our circles of life. This is done both by word (speaking about God and the Good News) and deed (living like Christians).
